Crispy Cocoa Almond Rice Treats

Makes approximately 2 dozen
A great snack or not-too-sweet treat for the kids–and adults as well!
½ cup smooth raw almond butter
½ cup Ohgave! nectar
½ cup raw sunflower seeds
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons raw organic cocoa powder
2 cups crispy brown rice cereal
½ cup finely chopped almonds for coating (optional)
Mix almond butter, Ohgave! nectar, sunflower seeds, vanilla, cinnamon and cocoa powder in a large mixing bowl. Add brown rice cereal and mix until well combined. Using wet hands, form mixture into walnut size balls and roll in the finely chopped almonds. Store in a tightly covered plastic container and refrigerate.
